Friends of the Library, Erlangen e.V. is a voluntary organization founded by a group of Erlangen citizens, many of them English speakers from around the world, who want to build up a high-quality children’s and youth English book section at Erlangen public library.
English is an important part of a child’s education today.
Our aim is to support the children and youth of Erlangen by raising money in order to purchase modern and popular quality English children’s and teenagers’ books. Cultural events, such as readings to present and publicise our purchases, are also an important part of our work.
